VMware piles up...Lots of new code coming in 2009
VMware is stepping it up... maybe. I don't know what the benefit of dropping to just one ESX server will be. The build teams think they can get the virtual server to span across 8 processing cores with up to 256 GB (not MB) per virtual machine. The only problem, if I am understanding this correctly, is that Vmware cannot see the threads in many Opteron CPU's. So if you want to take advantage of VMware's multi-threading capabilities, you have to stick with Intel for the time being. The upcoming releases of 2009 will enable users to add virtual memory or CPU's to a VM instance without having to reboot the VM.

MSI no longer uses BIOS, switch to UEFI
So I guess BIOS has now become obsolete and is on it's way to extinction. UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) is suppose to be its successor. It has a fancy GUI with the ability to point and click with your mouse! You can even play games in it! Lastly, they plan to bring LAN capabilities to UEFI in the new future.
