I recently saw "No Country for Old Men". I thought this was a crazy good movie.

I wanted to get away from paying so much attention to disturbing news so I rented two movies to watch this weekend. " Righteous Kill " staring DeNiro and Pacino was disappointing.

Vin Diesel in Babylon A.D. was also disappointing. Now I am even more depressed.

Cheer up cousinlucky, there are still more terrific movies to see. "I am Legend" is not a movie to see when you are depressed but this is just a guess. I saw it tonight, really interesting story but still sad.

Yes Mikeybob, I am Legend was a sad story. I liked Will Smith in Hancock though.

Speaking of Vin Diesel, this sums up exactly how my movie-going relationship with him is

I saw Slumdog Millionaire this past weekend and really liked it. It's just a good story that's told really well. I was glad to see it won some awards at the Golden Globes the other night. I wasn't expecting that considering it wasn't widely advertised/released.

Using a coupon for an old movie I rented Hollow Man from the video store. From the opening credits my attention was captured. Kevin Bacon does a good job in this film which is full of great special effects. The only disappointment I had was in the next to last scene which went a little over the top.

I just finished watching "28 Days later".
This is pretty cool zombie type movie, I got a big kick out of it.
