I am sitting on a train...

I got my my HSDPA modem working on Gentoo this afternoon, now I have the net for the 1 hour train ride home each night.

After spending most of the weekend googling for why it wouldn't work, I was looking at the connection scripts today and thougt "what happens if I try a different Access Point Name?" less than a minute later I was connected.

Nice one. Is that one of the Huawei ones? I got one working for my sister, she's very happy with it.

Yeah Hauwei E169 which shows up as an E220, and I checked before buying that I had coverage all the way home.

We use them at work for sending text messages from websites too, versatile little gadgets.

Hmm, the Hauwei E-range is very popular here in South Africa too. The USB version works very nicely... all our users are trying to upgrade as soon as they can to get rid of their PCMCIA 3G modems. Enjoy the ride home. :o)

The moving clock K' appears to K to run slow by the factor (1-v^2/c^2)^(1/2).
This is the phenomenon of time dilation.
The faster you run, the younger you look, to everyone but yourself.
