    hello intrested in linux

Hi all so I`m nearly there...I have been looking at dumping windows for a while, and when i was shown Linux by a friend I was amazed. I have no experiance i programing a PC, i generally use the pc for surfing the web, emails, music downloads etc, and I am stuck between, SUSE,Fedora,or freespirt?.

any ideas on which route to follow, to be honest I`m not a fan of older versions of open office, but Find version 3 usable, which one of the above would give me open office 3, or can I download lotus sympony?

ny comment are welcome...many thanks, and I hope I many years using Linux

Howdy and Welcome to LFO davellew69. Since you are looking at Open Suse, you can read this in regards to Open Office 3

    openSUSE 11.1 Is Here - Includes OpenOffice.org 3, Firefox 3 and Linux kernel 2.6.27.7 - Softpedia

As far as Lotus goes, take a look at this

Installing IBM Lotus Symphony - openSUSE
