Hello smart people. I'm a total noob when it comes to Linux

    Hi,

I'm Brian. I really want to have one of my home pc's have Linux and in the coming months I'll probably have a lot of questions about what to do and such. So I look forward to being taught and helped out.

    Hey thanks guys.

I bought a new computer just after the holiday season ended and I'm currently in the process of putting everything from the old pc on the new pc. This is mainly delayed due to laziness and my job. After that I will try Ubuntu because thats the distro (correct lingo?) that the online test thing told me would work well for me.

Just in reading a little bit today I understand so much more about Linux I otherwise didn't know. It's awesome!

    Welcome aboard the freedom express

I don't know if you have already read this but as a Windows user it is definitely worth trawling through.

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

I read a little bit of it, I was at work at the time and that opened my eyes quite a bit. I can't believe I used to think (back in like '06) that Linux was a side project of Microsoft...sigh.
