Hi from Va
Ok I'm as new as you can get, well, I finally figured out how to install Ubuntu on Vista computer today, I got Ubuntu 8.04 in stead of 8.10 cause I read that 8.04 will be supported longer, being a windows addict I figure thats a good thing. Now the program searching begins all over again LOL.

Oh its fun, I already figured out where all the files are, and whats what, as soon as I get the video right and a few players off the list somebody was so kind to link to I'll be dumping windows in the trash forever. I downloaded the replacement for vista over the weekend (windows 7) and installed it on another hard drive than I have Ubuntu on and I can't even run the stock screen savers without a massive video card. And so far FireFox is working better than it ever did on Windows. I think Ubuntu is going to be the perfect replacement for a operating system that doesn't work right
