    Is anyone using Granular Linux?

I received an email notifing me that a new Granular Linux cd was available.
Needless to say I had never heard about this distro and it is not listed in the distos at Linuxforums.

I'm wondering if anyone ever used or tried it out. It is advertised as being something us Linux dummies should be glad to install onto our computers.

No, I'm not running it and never have, but you can always try the liveCD yourself to see if it's something you'd want to install to the hard drive.

I've never heard of it either, and I tend to be wary of distros I've never heard of. Having said that, here's the Distrowatch page:
    DistroWatch.com: Granular Linux

I'm personally of the opinion that default package selection and default appearance are the two least important criteria a person can have in choosing a distribution, but the reviews seem to be overall positive. You have nothing to lose in giving the LiveCD a shot, at least.

Is there a list somewhere of things I should never do while booting a live cd of a Linux distro?
