What happened to Tuxmachines??
I 've been trying for the last day and more to get to Tuxmachines and it keeps telling me that:
If you go to tuxmachines.org | Do you waddle the waddle?, then Tuxmachines appears, but it takes more than a minute in ADSL2 line...The server at www.tuxmachines.org is taking too long to respond.
The requested site did not respond to a connection request and the browser has stopped waiting for a reply.
I guess (and hope...) that it has something to do with its hosting company and that it will be up and running in the next few days. It would be a real shame if the best Linux news site closes...
Does anyone know what happened??

No problem here in the UK (after 17 hours)

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

Ah. It was the second link that worked for me and that is an IP Address. This points to a name resolution issue. And indeed a quick nslookup shows that tuxmachines is pointing a different address.
If this is the result of an error and if it has already been corrected, it could take 3 days to filter through to all the DNS Servers
Code:nslookup www.tuxmachines.org Server: 192.168.0.1 Address: 192.168.0.1#53 Non-authoritative answer: Name: www.tuxmachines.org Address: 68.157.220.56

That looks like someone made an error there, it's pointing to a local subnet. I did that a few months ago when I installed ddclient on a new machine, I set it to look at the network card instead of a weblookup.

It doesn't appear to be unless you are talking about 192.168.0.1 in which case that is my routers/firewall internal IP. It has the external DNS ips in it...
