    Hello! I wrote recently to have someone really, clearly, and patiently explain to me how to install GIMP on my ASUS EEE PC Linux. I have gone to GIMP's site, but am not even close to being a techie, and their lingo is so alien to me....

    Can you tell me what Linux distribution you are using?
