    US army 'wants more immigrants'

i just read a bbc news article, and it said that the us army will accept recruits that have temporary visas and give them citizenship in around 6 months.
i know not everyone on this forum lives in the us but what do you think of the army's idea?

personally i think its one of the best ideas to give someone citizenship in a country,
it has them serve the country and earn citizenship at the same time. and its alot better then someone marrying a US citizen then divorcing them after they get a green card after 5 years(like happened to my aunt).
Microsoft isn't evil, they just make really crappy operating systems.

I think it's a pretty good idea, it sure beats the the heck out of the current visa system as pointed out above.
