ks hi i am Krista from indiana... i have played on the net for qite a bit. had a hp, was playing Tibia (RPG) w/e anyways..... the comp was old as ummm (dirt?) soo like the awesome comp it was. it stopped. i mean, STRAIGHT UP STOPPED.... no hey, hi, umm ur comp is facked or w/e just BYE BYE. k anyway, i have this TIGHT as HELL IBM thinkpad 600 with Ubuntu, which is Linux i guess. never had Linux b4 and had all the crap on my windows 98. ummmm there is gotta be a way to get it to let me watch youtube videos. if not even just to play Tibia....... i am an addict (sad i know) any info would help, i think. CRAP i dunno. i hate feeling sooo dumb

Hi Krista. Welcome to LFO. Those links I gave you in your other post should give you you tube in a jiffy. It's not hard to do from Add/Remove under Accessories on the top task bar. Just follow the instructions from the Restricted Extras Link I provided from Ubuntu. It's a cinch. If a Biker like me can do it. I'm sure you can handle it. Have fun.
