    physical ethernet interface to multiple virtual interafce mapping

    Hi,
    i have a physical ethernet interface eth0 nad 8 virtual interafce tap0......tap8...
    etho is in bridge with virtual interface tap0. Actual traffic to the system comes through eth0. so reach tap0. I want to map these packets to virtual interfaces so that i can simulate a network switch environmnet (tap1 ...tap8 represents 8 poerts of the switch).

    How do i efficiently do this mapping...
