GPS on train tracking
hi all good morning, i am a frequent commutator in train. we all felt very annoyed in waiting train, can we develop a system which can run in any GPS enabled mobile handset, which can actively monitor the train locations even between stations. if our developers can made such system it will be very high end application utility in the world. so pl think on these ideas.... . I think it is possible !

This is a linux mesage board. If your question had anything to do with linux, I'd probably think on those ideas. As it is, I'm pretty certain that if you had a clue about what your asking for, you wouldn't ask, without the requisite truckload of $100 bills I'm going to require you dump on my driveway as a condition of my involvement.. I'll answer linux questions for free, I build commercial for cold, hard, cash, one third upfront or take your business down the road.
My best suggestion to you is have somebody who gets on the train before you call you and tell you when the train is running late.

While such things already exist, the question remains in my mind why a consumer level commuter needs or wants to develop a gps system such as this. Afterall, knowing the train location because of irritation over being late will not make the thing move any faster. Perhaps there is another reason for needing to know this information? A bit questionable on a number of levels.
