Hey Guys I am doing some research on Certifications and I wondering about the Linux + one.
I was wondering Why I should take this certification and What kind of employers or jobs would want this

It doesn't hurt to have this on a resume if you are looking for a sysadmin job.
My recommendation would be to get certified by the distro maker - either Red Hat, Novell or Canonical.Looking for a distro? Look here.

I suggest RHCE from Red Hat.
Certification from such big companies really counts. It's costly but carries importance. Don't get certified from companis next door.
Well, sysadmin job needs you have to have a certification.

The Linux+ certification from CompTIA will definitely get your foot in the door. Employers are becoming more aware of Linux and will definitely notice this.
That is about all the Linux+ will do though, is get you in. It will also teach you about system maintenance and administration. Make sure you study for it though, because even though it isn't as hard as the RHCE and the LPI Certs, that doesn't mean it is easy.
I took the Linux+ and passed with flying colors, but I have been using Linux for quite a few years. Look through some of the study guides and see if it is for you.
I would recommend getting the RHCA/RHCE if you want a sysadmin job though. It is more in-depth, but you will get a job that pays more with that cert.
Linux+ has opened a few doors for me though, and if that is what you want, maybe you can get hired with it and have the employer pay for higher certs. It is not a bad cert at all.
It also depends on your region. It won't have much effect if everyone around you has it or RHCE. Where I live, in the whole region, almost no one knows about Linux so as companies discover it, they need someone who knows Linux, and any Linux cert to them is a good one.
