The most recent slew of spam I've been getting promises me a mortgage of $300,000 at a mer $400 a month, all they need is my ss# and bank account. Nice. hmmm... Let's see, at that rate, I'd pay off my house in about 175 years! Who would believe such crap??????

When I was an unemployed college student I used to regularly get pre-approved credit cards sent to me in the mail. The one that floored me had a $150,000 limit. I could have funded my entire education and a new car on that card... and ended up having my grandchildren pay it off.Registered Linux user #270181
