    Has anyone seen this?

    Marvell: SheevaPlug Development Kit

It's a 1.2 Ghz PC running Linux, that has an RJ45 and USB interface and plugs into an electrical socket.

What's better, is they're apparently selling these for $99.

For some reason I have strange dreams for putting $1290 down for a 12-socket powerbar, 12 of these, and a switch to plug into my network.

The model that ships with linux seems to run a 2.6.22.18 kernel with a debian build on flash memory, if they make 'em any smaller you'll be able to plug it into the wall like a night light.
