    Hello from Québec / Canada

    Hi all,

    As the forum suggest me I'll introduce my self.

    I'm in the Unix world since 1996, beginning on IBM/AIX, and starting in 1998, I began to play with Linux. Since that moment I'm 100% using Linux and Open Source Software and I also recommend and implement Open Source Software.

    I'm a consultant freelancer, and I'm actually working in a second Linux deployment in a retail environement. So I'm working with OLD (386 and 486) and recent hardware. The first deployment was 3-4 years a go with a Debian 3.0 and actually we are reinstalling on Debian etch. For that client I have automated the installation using nfsroot and scripts. That a very pleasant playground of 2500 Linux machines.

    I also do remote Linux administration, for customer located near me and in France also. As all good Unix administrator I'm also doing programming (console and web) in PHP & Perl.
