Firefox 1.0 Preview Release

Silly me, I did not know that the new Firefox release was out. I was still using 0.9.3.

What do you all think about it? I have not had it long enough to form any opinions yet.

I second that, i've been using the preview since the day after it came out and i am quite impressed with the speed, even faster than .9.3

I had some problems with the ff pre1 release. First off, the permissions on the Extensions and Themes directories were borked. That's no biggie...probably a problem with the ebuild. But when I was posting, I noticed that the arrow keys didn't work in the text box to post a reply (the one that I'm typing in now). I downgraded to 0.9.3 for now...

My initial thoughts.

RSS button in lower right corner = cool

Pop-up notifier = too much like a certain Micro$oft product

Plugin installer = cool; it was so easy I am embarassed.

Search function = I am not sure; it may grow on me.

I'd say it's just about ready for release! Looks good, although I still think it lacks configurablity.
