Hi Folks
Just saying hello - just joined. I'm an engineer who's done lots of embedded development, but never touched Linux till yesterday. Raked out an old (and therefore resource-limited) PC and installed KateOS onto it. So I shall no doubt be pestering you all lots in the coming weeks and months as I get to grips with developing under Linux. C, C++ and object oriented have been my thing to date, together with some low level'ish coding, but not really really low level.
Nice to meet you!

Thanks.
Yes, KateOS looked a good bet for getting to grips with Linux, given it's an elderly PC I'm using it on. Had a bit of trouble sorting partitions and getting it to boot. Eventually sussed I'd pointed GRUB at the wrong partition during the install. But now it's up and running!
