    Rosetta Stone

Just thought I'd drop a line or two and say The Linux Community helped me get my Rosetta Stone
up and running. Sound was also a problem.
Using Ubuntu 8.10 and wine 1.1.18
found the info needed to get sound mic and earphones working using
aplay and arecord then writing a file " .asoundrc "
that included the capture and play card numbers. I can't explain how, but found
very good examples on wine forums.

Just wanted to pass on the info.

    I love linux

Howdy and Welcome. I have the Rosetta Stone CD's. I am a bit curious (since I have never used wine for anything) on what links you used to get it working and on which distro. Happy Trails Bill.
