I figure Dapper Dan is going to have a different opinion about these movies and their ranking.
I have not seen all of them.

In my opinion, "Vanishing Point" should have been number one and "Bullitt" number two. The rest are "also-rans."

EDIT: Found this on YouTube. Thought it was a pretty good edit.Last edited by Dapper Dan; 04-08-2009 at 02:06 AM.

They include "Toy Story", but not "Tucker, a man and his dream." ?? Preston Tucker is one of the great stories about a man, his vision for a car about 40 years ahead of its time, and the corruption of the American "Big Three" automakers and just what lengths a threatened corporation will go to to kill the little guy.
Certainly not number 1 for the crowd who prefers movies like Vanishing Point, Bullitt, and Bond movies, but bumped by Toy Story? Please.

When I saw the name of this list I thought they meant "movies about cars," and I see from reading it they're really talking about "movies with cool car scenes." In the spirit of my original interpretation, here's a short list of my own:
Maximum Overdrive
Pixar's Cars
Transformers (1986 animated and 2007 live action)
