    I think what you are looking at is, Tucows, which apparently is owned by MS, I don't think MS would be caught dead using Linux servers.

    I'm not sure if Microsoft runs Linux on their servers, or not, but if they are, who could blame them?

    Actually, running just microsoft.com at NetCraft gives a variety of systems running their websites, including Linux:

    Netcraft - Search Web by Domain

    I think if you look closer, you'll notice all the ones that are running Linux are Akamai, Level 3, and a London Data Center? WOOT For London!

    I know that Microsoft is going a bit in the direction of Unix because of its stability. I've heard that the Windows 7 memory management is more or less Unix like. I can't blame for doing so, but they need to be careful not to violate the Unix patents.

    Or better, they shouldn't be careful. Then they can be sued. That would be cool.
