Thumbs up My little intro :D

Well let's see I am 32 y/o and have been into computers since I was 8. My first comp was a Commadore 128. Since then I moved on progressively and used every kind of windblows program out there and about 8 years ago I got into using Linux. However, windblows crashed my computer and still needing windows I stopped trying. But now I have a older computer and plan to get Ubuntu on it and try to get it too work and learn a little more about linux especially since I really hate windows.

Oh also when I was in high school I went through a phase and had 3 computers hooked up at once and actually ran a dial up bulletin board. Hell I used to drag my computer over to a friends house so that we could play warcraft networked to each others computers just for fun.

Well as far as my knowlege of linux I am not that knowlegeable being 8 years since I even tried to use it but my brother is quite knowlegable with it (being an electrical egineer and all) but he is not good at explaining squat. So I am hoping to get up an running and learn something.
