My experience with SuSE 64-bit

Did you have any trouble booting from the 64 bit dvd from SuSE?

I have bought a new DVD and it does not boot up.

It can read the disk from another OS, but when set to boot from CD/DVD it will not boot up.

Any Ideas?

Can you boot from any other CD/DVD media? If not, it's possible your BIOS settings aren't correct. You'll need to specify in your BIOS under "boot order" to boot to your CD/DVD-ROM drive first before it tries to boot from your harddrive.
