I still think it is the planet exerting the force and not the table. Even after reading the explanation!

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

Quiz's answer: false. Correct answer: arguably either true or false, depending on your definition of what 'cloud mass' is.
The entirety of a cloud's mass, you could say, is made up of the gas form of water, water vapour, and only a small part of that is the visible water that has condensed due to temperature change in the air in which it is suspended.

I ran through the quiz and found it entertaining, even if the guy *is* using it to pimp his books. I wouldn't put too much credence in it as a measure of physics knowledge though. More than anything, it's an exercise in navigating through a poorly written interrogative. But again... he's using it to pimp his books. As he pretty much admits on his quiz intro page:
I checked out the guy's worksite page as well, and he appears to be legit.

82.5% - That's about a C grade. I guess I need to review freshman physics again - I got a B from Frank Oppenheimer at the University of Colorado.

75%, a couple I blew by misreading the question (e.g. milliliter I read as millimeter... thus an incorrect response), and others were a real trick on words (and they're real anal on the definition of "force"); but over all, I can accept the results and explanations. Has some interesting history lessons too.
