It never goes higher than 7 days, because we either run out of electricty (pay thingy) or a new kernel comes out and i just have to update = reboot.

If you go to a terminal and type
    Code:
    uptime
you will get information on how long you computer has been on, as well as the number of users and the loads on the processor. My current uptime is:
    Code:
    13:52:29 up 1 day, 16:37, 15 users, load average: 0.34, 0.48, 0.47
    Registered Linux User #371543!

    Magellan:-
    5:21pm up 159 days, 1:08, 1 user, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00

    Rockhopper:-
    5:18pm up 1 day 6:48, 17 users, load average: 0.00, 0.04, 0.15

Magellan is so useful as a fileserver I just leave it alone

Rockhopper is a little more 'volatile' and spontaneously dies... or sometimes when you resize gkrellm, or even think of starting mozilla
(it did when it used to be an NT4 and wn2k box... so I think it has hardware issues...)
