Is it a possibility to evade mounting with Dolphin? In KDE4 it seems to me, I can only mount disks via Dolphin. Is there another way?...

If you need a CD/DVD catalogizer, give a try to my program:

    There's always the old skool........command line. mount -t /dev/ /mnt/
Or you can open another file manager, if you have one installed, and use that. I was using Thunar (unintentionally) for all my KDE-4 browsing and it works pretty good. There used to be a GUI program called usermount in Redhat, maybe you can still find that somewhere.

I think I will try to move back to KDE 3 which still can be found in repositories. KDE4 is still very much like Windows, and I prefer the freedom.
