    stereo ipod adapter :(

    Hi All,

My girlfriend has a car that has an ipod adapter built into the stereo, it's just a cord that comes through the glove box. She doesn't have an ipod because it's...unfriendly to the open source community. So questions is, is there an adapter that is basically the "female" side of the ipod to standard 3.5mm jack so we can plug her creative zen into the slot? I looked around and haven't been able to find anything....we had a cig radio adapter in her old car but it was stolen (with the car )

    Thanks all

That I know of not specifically no. Ipod only likes other ipod/apple stuff (for the most part) and that sort of conversion is not really possible.

Apple is, but you can control an iPod with a number of linux applications. I use Amarok, but you have options.
