To be honest I'm starting to go off firefox. It's not that I find anything wrong with it, per se, but rather that I desire the feel of something more community based rather than corporation. I used to like firefox - actually I used mozilla for quite a while before I switched - but they artificially boosted their version numbers and that quite annoyed me.
Sure, you can justify it any which way but loose, but in the end when the product becomes nothing more than a pawn for commercialism then it looses it's appeal very quickly.
I'm quite interested in midori at the moment and I'm following its development with a keen eye. It's a simple gtk browser that uses webkit. It fits quite nicely in with the unix philosophy.

I'm afraid midori is still quite young, so extensions - if at all - will be quite far in to the future. Fortunately I don't rely upon too many extensions; I use Privoxy to filter my traffic before it even reaches the browser. The one extension I would like to see available for it is flashblock, maybe firebug as that's quite useful, so we shall have to wait and see.
