    New to linuxforums - Hello

    Greetings All -

    I am new to linuxforums, however, I have been using Slackware linux since Pat first released it. I hope to be able to help someone who may be new to using linux or possibly something unrelated to linux.

    I broke my neck in April of '88 at the young age of twenty-seven, attempting to sleep while I was driving (multi task) and found that it wasn't possible for a sustained period of time...heh. Nevertheless, after spending four months in ICU and right at seven months in rehabilitation, I was kicked to the curb. I had a sack full of supplies and a shiny new wheelchair.

    hello I am new as well, I'm not a good looking young lady but an old 60 and struggling with technology. I teach English and would like some help with linux. I bought an aspire one netbook with linux and now can't play videos or mp3 recordings. I think the system is Limpus? You will undoubtedly get more exciting messages but your offer of help appealed to me
