    Rest in Peace David Carradine!

It saddened me today to learn that actor David Carradine was found dead in the closet of his Bangkok hotel room. I will always remember his perfected role of " grasshopper " in the TV series " Kung Fu "!!

I'm right there with you. Remember watching the show when I was younger.

    Yes. He will be missed.

It's funny... Kung Fu gave him the most screen time, but I will always remember him best as 'Bill', in Kill Bill and as Cole Younger in The Long Riders. Both were villains, but somehow he made them sympathetic. I always liked that bar scene in The Long Riders, where he and James Remar got wicked with the Bowie knives while Pam Reed (as Belle Starr) eggs them on. Not historically accurate, but good cinema nonetheless.

Leave it to Rupert Murdock's New York Post newspaper to be crass and ugly. Their front page headline: HUNG FU!!

I am glad that I stopped reading that rag years ago.

When I was a child, I didn't much care for his show "Kung-Fu", but I guess over the years it grew on me and I actually started to like it a lot as I got older. I loved his "Kill Bill" characters, I'll sure miss him.

@cousinlucky, man.......It's just a disgrace that they would actually put that in print, I think it just goes to show that newspapers will print anything to entice you into buying one. This kind of attitude is probably a part of the reason why they are a dying business model.

Kung Fu was one of those TV shows that glued me to the TV whenever it came on. I have never met David Carradine but the role that he portrayed is one that I greatly admire.

Here is a link to the story of his funeral where his peers paid their respects!!
