Most users think that windows are easy because they have their geek friend (and that's us, using Linux in our PCs!!!!) fix all their issues ALL THE TIME.

I have stopped helping other users fix windows problems and guess what: they have suddenly become more and more irritated about windows. I bet that when Android is ready for notebooks, I will convince many of them to try it. What can the Google brand alone accomplish, right??

At work we have thin clients running Linux, and really no one has noticed. Jokingly the IT staff refers to the thin clients OS as Win7 because it looks a bit different than XP.

In fact, the only complaints we get about the thin clients is by people who don't have one... they ask if we have one left for them, because they are so much faster than the fully grown desktop PC's.

I think we don't need to go and convince them,it's really hard job
Just install Android and show it to them, then they may ask your help to install it on their machines.

Yes Freston,It's a fact that most IT people don't know Linux has so much offer.
Just couple of days while selecting packages during Linux Installation, one of team members (8+ experience in windows) said ,he never knew "Linux comes with so much packages"

I've started doing the same thing as L4Linux. I refuse to support Windows. Sometimes, I can persuade someone to dual boot, and shortly, they hardly use Windows anymore.

It also comes down to how thick headed someone is. A person that tells me that Linux has a learning curve, blah, blah, blah spent 2 hours the other day to HACK THE REGISTRY in order to disable automatic updates, that would not be disabled otherwise. Easy is relative or he likes the windows registry adventure I guess.

Sometimes I feel annoying talking to Windows users.
I use Linux because, I found things easier, faster, and powerful.
So yes the survey is correct
