reiserfs is a journaling file system, same as ext3, ext4, JFS, XFS, so probably not a good choice for SD card .

Thanks Hal. Came to the same conclusion after researching. Was amazed at the hits on Reseirfs personal life.

I am gonna give up on trying to install AntiX on SDHC card. I don't expect Warren or Anticapalista to change the way the Mepis Installer works for a flashdrive install. Probably not a big priority on their agenda and I am the only user that has brought this issue up. So I don't see any hope in doing what I wish to do.

So I'll just drink my free beer and wait and see if any body shows up with a better brew. LOL

I use mandrake before it's come into mandria.
Then i pass to Fedora from 8 and next upgrades
I'm rly happy wiht fedora, with mandriva i need to kake a lot of time with rpm packages and dependencies.

And kd descktop it's great . I'll do all my job into Linux I love it

This is killing me... I darwin'ed my mobo less than a week before FC11 was launched. I'm shopping around for a new proc and mobo, but in the meantime I'm stuck using a friend's XP rig. (Gag.. cough... wheeze... !) The experience is depressing beyond words.

Thanks for the thread, Dan. It least I can read about my distro-of-choice as I decide on my new hardware.
