Creating a new distro

Congrats RFahy I need more info. on it. Have you created it from LFS?
Have you placed X over it ie. packages from BLFS?

Right now ,I have a minimal working Distro,yet to go for BLFS.

I didn't use B/LFS but it looks interesting.
Instead I simply took SimplyMEPIS 8.0.06, patched the kernel to support Sqlzma and removed/added components via apt-get. While LFS looks nice I don't think I'd ever use that tactic unless for hardening security.

I need help writing the commands, since i can already boot from the live cd for lfs, until it says
"system [root]#", and i want to know how and where to type the commands in.

would i type in the commands for example, * vim
* nano
* joe
in the bit after it says "system[root]#" ?

like: system [root]# vim or system[root]# nano?
