    Hi Friends

    I am a complete noob to Linux OS. Currently I am using Mandriva One 2009.1(Spring) edition( dual booting it with Vista Ultimate 64 Bit on my HP Laptop). Through google search i found this forum and looking forward to learn more about Linux(in noob point of view).

    Welcome here. I do like Mandriva but I heard the last edition is buggy - how are your impressions of this distro?

    Thanks for the warm words guys

    @Computerophil-So far i have not had any serious trouble with the current Mandriva one edition. It instantly recognized almost all the devices in my laptop(that includes wi-fi adapter, webcam etc).Booting time also very good.BTW, i am using KDE 4.2.4.

    Thank you- I do have Mandriva 2009 (without the 1) and this one is also great and very beginner friendly.
