Which is Better Mozilla or IE 8
can any one say the benifit of Mozilla rather than IE 8

Well, according to MS, IE 8 is safer than Firefox, safer than Chome, Safri, Opera and anything else.
LOL!!!
Everyone apart from MS says that IE has the worst security record compared to all other browsers and it is patched more slowly, which means that security holes exist for a longer time.

- The Mozilla engine runs on every major OS natively, whereas IE does so only on Windows.
- The Mozilla project's source code is open to public scrutiny, so when a bug is identified, the number of people who know about it is significantly higher, raising the possibility that a fix will be available more quickly.
- The Mozilla project is not a convicted monopolist in two parts of the world (US and EU).

I've used IE 8. I used IE for quite a while. I've never personally seen a reason to prefer IE. I've read it's not very secure. I've read Chrome is supposed to be very secure. I read at the CanSecWest contests, it was left unhacked? I believe this to be true. I read the same thing about Ubuntu, also. Charlie Miller hacked the Mac in seconds. Then again, if someone like that knew something like that for the others, I'd imagine it wouldn't look so good for them, either. He worked for the NSA for five years, I believe. I don't know too much about security, otherwise.OpenBSD is supposed to be very, very secure. I believe they banned OpenBSD at the Defcon9 hacking contests a while back. I haven't noticed anything about Firefox that has caused me to miss having IE at all.

IE is simply terrible. I think it was IE 6 they started trying to copy Firefox with the tabs and search box.

I refuse to visit any site that requires IE of any sort in order to make use of their services. I had to whack my business bank upside the head because they wouldn't support firefox on Linux for online banking! It still isn't "right", but at least they made it work for the most part.
