Hello from former Flunkie
I finally took the plunge and installed (dual-boot) ubuntu on my new laptop. Trying it for a week before I overwrite windows. I have been flirting with linux since 2001 when I graduated from college.
I spent 3 years as a Linux Flunkie. I supported Red Hat (fedora 1) as well as SUSE. I knew commands and such but never really understood what I was doing.
I am finally free from that job and it's oppressive grip on my soul and have decided to learn linux for good, not evil.
