Could some kind Gentoo user take over this bug from me?
Some time ago I reported an intermittent bug to Gentoo Bugzilla. What happened was that if X was running (this was the new xorg-server-1.6), Linux virtual consoles gradually started to misbehave. Characters failed to register - they didn't appear on the screen either. It got steadily worse over time. Opening a new console was a temporary solution but then that too began to degenerate. Stopping X cleared the problem immediately. I first noticed it with the 2.6.27 kernel but it was still there with 2.6.29. I also found some odd messages about drm and buffers in /var/log/messages.
For a long time I didn't hear from the bugzilla team and I forgot all about it. Now I've received an email asking for my Xorg.0.log and dmesg. Which of course I can't supply any more because I no longer have Gentoo. I've reused the partition for my Crux system. I really hate letting them down like this. Are there any Gentoo users out there who could reproduce this bug and take over the report?
PS: The bug number is 266291."I'm just a little old lady; don't try to dazzle me with jargon!"

I have reverted back to the 1.5 xorg.......1.6 just does not like my system for some reason, so I can't help out here.
I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.
