Introduction
Hello,
I am a newbie. Just had an eeepc 4G with linux os. I am struggling to learn linux so that in the future, when it becomes necessary, I can install drivers, say, the driver of an external optical device and more.
And hopefully discover a way I can run a game I played in XP.

Welcome here.
It depends on the game.
Some are developed also for Linux.
There are also Browser Games that usually work on all OS.
Old Dos Games via DosBox.
Some WindowsGames via Wine.
You will see Linux is great but it is not Windows - its main difference is: Linux is great.

Howdy and Welcome. I own a small Asus EEE 900. I use the orginal Xandros and Dual boot with AntiX 8.2.3 via a external sdhc 8 gig flash drive card. Like Phil said, anything is possible in Linux.
