Nobody's paying attention to the Typing Techniques thread now. I just took the typing test at typingtest.com, using Aesop's fables and got:

Also pay attention to your typing style (don't know if yours is correct or not but still).

I got a forwarded mail which I checked out to be authentic. It said wrong position of hands results in Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. The surgery seemed painful form the pics.

I cannot copy paste that mail but I shall soon hook up a link to a similar page.

As a manager would say: My typing speed gives me opportunity for improvement!
    Code:
    Net Speed: 44 WPM
    (words/minute)
    Accuracy: 100%
    Gross Speed: 44 WPM
    (words/minute)

I saw other people say this here, but normally I know I don't type that fast. I know I used software before, too, to time myself - but didn't try for as much speed as possible, just to get a good amount of wpm - and got around 65. When I'm just using the computer, using the terminal, doing different things I usually type a lot slower.
