    where to start linux??

    I'm working as a Embedded Design Engg since 2005 on microcontrollers writing softwares in C.
    now i want to work on linux in 2005 i'd done Embedded course where i got little bit idea of linux but now i think i've to start from beginning pls. help me from where to start. which site/books i refer or shall i go for classes on linux but i want to learn it myself ix it possible.

    Its better to get rolling with CLI first.

    I would suggest you to play with LiveCD of any distro and install it later on. Make sure to follow instructions before installing Linux. Installation process of most of distros is very easy and straight forward.

    Check this Poll on Fav Linux distro and check the link in my Signature too.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
