I would love to be able to help other newbies someday! And I wish I could learn my school subjects as fast as I'm learning my way around this, lol! But we both have awesome teachers right here in this forum!

Hi Linux girl and welcome to the coffee lounge. I use Ubuntu and often use the terminal to install programs. As to age I am at the other end of the spectrum at 73 I am still awed by the freedom of a linux system. I hope you never lose the enthusiasm of a newbie and as you learn pass it on.
