The effects are a bit dated but it was rendered on Amigas!

Thanks for the replies, guys. I'm going to hold off at least for a while to see if Netflix will make at least season one available by streaming.

Personally, I really liked the series for the most part. Enough so that I have all the episodes, movies, and spin-offs on DVD. I will agree that it took a couple of seasons to get really going - the change from Sinclair (Michael O'Hare) to John Sheridan (Bruce Boxleitner) was very good from the acting perspective, and I felt that over time he really got into the part. I was really fond of G'Kar (Andreas Katsulas, who passed away toward the end of the series). I thought that Katsulas was brilliant, especially having to act with all that prosthetic makeup on every day! He made the character come alive for me.

Yeah, it always seemed that Sinclair was doing an informercial. "Hi! My names Michael O'Hare and you may remember me from such infomercials as...)

My two favourite charcters were Vir Cotto (Stephen Furst) and Lennier (Bill Mumy)

The other character I really liked was Michael Garibaldi (Jerry Doyle), the reformed alcoholic security chief. What a devious thinker!
