Hallo and welcome. Don't worry this will not last long.
Most Newbies have the same difficulties so as soon as you are over those initial difficulties you can start to help other newbies. The more complicate questions you can leave for the more experienced members.
I hope you feel well here.

Welcome aboard. Just remember that no matter how much you learn, there's always something new to learn. And that's part of the fun.

Welcome to another newbie!
I'm new too and the most wonderful thing I've discovered so far is don't be afraid of the command line. It's a powerful secret weapon I never would have dared use in Vista, but it's great in Linux!
My Linux is a "home-made" mixture (minimal Ubuntu with LXDE desktop) designed to provide a familiar-looking desktop with clickable icons... I didn't even know it was Linux 'til my friend told me so! Now I've adopted it and am starting to bravely explore alot more, lol. It's fun!
Who knew being geeky could be so much fun?!
Enjoy,
Amy
