    Talking Hello everyone

Well about a year ago I made three posts. Then I dropped out of sight. Mainly because I went back to XP then tried Vista for a few months. (I don't know what I was thinking, momentary lapse of good taste and judgment I guess. )

I have to admit. Vista made me appreciate Linux all the more, lol.

Anyways, to make a long story short.... actually it is a short story. So I guess I would be making a short story shorter, unless I keep rambling on like this...

So I am back with Linux and I no longer duel boot. Don't plan on it. Seems like there have been major improvements over all with Linux in the last year. I also like the direction KDE4 is going in, I have KDE 4.2.4 installed right now. Looking forward to ext4 on Suse when ever they get that going, (I don't think it will be in 11.2 at all from my understanding.)

So hello everyone. Hope things are well.

    Thanks.

I see it really taking off after Windows 7 comes out. I honestly think they will get that one right, Vista was just thrown out to rip people off imo.

But they wait too long, they fall behind and I see Linux jumping ahead during that time.

Welcome back. I kind of did the same, a couple of posts and then nothing. I never strayed from Linux though, just a bit of dabbling in FreeBSD. I get enough grief from Windows boxes at work.

Welcome back, I never left linux but I am a dual system user.
(I didn't find an equivalent to everest and some other programs but I like linux much better.)
But it isn't obligate to hate windows here (that comes from alone)
Hope this time we can convince you better that linux is the real thing.

I am not a MS hater either, though they really do give us reason to hate them at times. I am the only one that uses Linux so far. Everyone else uses Vista or XP and I am the one the call for help on those. I just wish I could get them to at least duel boot so they can see why I love Linux so much. It is nothing like it use to be ten years ago.

I have finally adapted to not have a couple of things I had with Windows. The rest I can do with wine or virtual machine but honestly the basics+ Linux already has covered these days.
