    My 100th Post

    Dear Everyone,

Since this is my 100th post, I would like to use it to take the opportunity to say THANK YOU to all those who have helped me through my four months membership. And also to those who made this forum possible and are working behind the scenes to make this forum run smooth, KUDOS AND PLEASE KEEP IT UP I tried to post a question in another forum and have not received any response to date. I listed up in another place but I personally felt that they seem to be a little rigid and so I was apprehensive to consult an issue.

In this forum however, I have received a lot of help from the in-house GURUS. Brilliant minds from the far east to the far west. People who I don't even know personally would patiently take time to share their time and help me solve issues in my own small linux world. Indeed, in the past four months, I was able to raise my understanding of linux 4 MBs higher.

    CHEERS!!!

    Congrats Nujinini!

Don't forget to thank yourself, you're every bit a part of the community as everyone else. But most importantly now, this calls for BANANAS!

It's amazing to me that unpaid volunteers - total strangers - take so much time to dig into someone else' problems to help solve them! That is unheard of almost everywhere else! Linux has the most awesome tech support in the universe!

Well, actually I find that explaining things to newbies is fun, so I'm not doing it altruistically. Besides, we all benefited from that kind of thing when we were newbies ourselves, so we feel a sort of moral obligation to pass it on. But I must say not every Linux forum is as friendly as this one.

That's what I also noticed...People take time to do down to our level to help bring us up to theirs... one solved problem at a time...

So that's were you get those bananas...

Couldn't agree more with you, Hazel.

I haven't asked that many questions, but I am happy to help others out, in the hope they will gain enough knowledge to help others.

This is the best general linux forum I've ever joined. Most of the others I don't even visit any more. I believe that there are only five I regularly visit, and two of those are more of a social network than a forum.

    Congrats !

It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
