Vulnerabilities turn iPhone and Windows Mobile devices into zombies
I had been seriously considering dropping my Blackberry and switching providers to get an iPhone. Then I caught wind of this. Now I'm taking a wait and see approach. Apple, in the meantime simply remains silent. Reminds me of another entity.

Apple has already released 3.0.1, which fixes that vulnerability:

Thanks! I'm still weighing my options, but this does put the iPhone in a better light. I've still got a few months before my current contract expires, but after playing with a coworker's 3GS my interest has been piqued. It *is* fast!
