I think it would be just wonderful if we had a world wide TV show where the victims got to set their own individual punishments onto guys like this. I would go back to watching commercial TV to see it!

The day parents were banned from punishing their children and instilling the concept of consequences; the day that teachers became social workers; the day that prisons became holiday camps.

But that's the UK.

It may have happened on a different day where you guys are!

No, it's more or less the same... only the county jail is "Country Club" instead of "Holiday Camp."

The lack of corporal punishment has lead to a generation of care-free misfits. The on-line aspect only makes it worse; how do you even use the alternate punishment of sending a kid to their room if that's where they'd rather be anyway? Maybe with no electronic equipment. They still figure something out. As a parent, you're not allowed to touch your kids but you're still resposible for their actions. Wha? This is too screwed up.

The parents' job is to teach a child how to function on their own in the world, but it surely isn't being made any easier as time goes on. This is definitely an example of epic FAIL.
