Weekly Column on Linux

My son who works as a lifestyle writer asked if I might be interested to handle a weekly column in the computer section of their newspaper. After hearing all the things I shared about the distros I am using and its avantages over Windows , he was quite impressed and said that he can make a recommendation to his boss.

I know that given the time, I can write a fairly good column but I am afraid that I do not yet have enough substance to share about linux. Not to mention that the owner of the biggest computer chain in our city has a regular column in the same section and can also write prolifically well. I still have to read an article on linux though from him.

I was thinking this could have been a good way to help "educate" people what linux is and what the advantages are. Maybe sometime in the near future perhaps. Hopefully

wow..that's really cool Yes,linux awareness is needed ,so that people can realize the power of linux and oss.
Have you chekcked Welcome to Linux.com: Your Source for All Things Linux recently it carried some good tutorials on Migrating from Windows to Linux, Windows equivalent Linux softwares and kernel and programming related stuff...that might be useful for writing your articles.
