Making my own website

i know i know i know that everyone on here that knows a bit about servers and managing your own website is thinking N00B but i seriously need some help ive decided to make and "adult website" now that im 18 and i dont know where to start should i be my own server and host my own website or should i pay



i want to host it off my own computers seeing as how i run linux on my desktop but i dont know what kind of harware im going to need im not looking at to much traffic about 1000 visitors a month if im lucky and around 10 customers but its something to help me out with food and rent

me and my friend have been developing ideas we know the laws and i figured the easiest and less expensive way is to do it on a linux computer being as how they rock as servers but if someone would take their valuable time i would very much appreciate it im looking at really doing this on a professional level even tho im an amature at the adult video buisness





what im looking to do is run downloads after someone buys a download i know i cant use paypal so ill be working on that i just need to figure out website construction and all that fun stuff if anyone that helps wants to benefit from this i can do "free videos" lol once i get it rolling

Though we're perfectly willing to help someone start their own website, we here at LinuxForums like to keep it as family friendly as possible. I don't believe discussing the inner workings of a pornographic website is appropriate. I am locking this thread.
